Writing: Lost Tools and Beyond

The literature books and papers our students read and write in the Challenge Program are my absolute favorite! The rich discussions that stem from these books are priceless!

For you new Challenge moms out there, when first learning the Lost Tools way of writing, it can seem overwhelming… but fear not… you’ve got this! Look at the blank outlines and Ch. A sample papers. Read the Teaching Lost Tools documents and… feel free to email me! I personally learn best by seeing examples so I hope you find these helpful!

For you veteran moms, as you know, the papers have many moving pieces. I have created outline templates for the papers to help ease the writing process; the example papers below should be helpful for you as well! Read over the docs you feel would be the most beneficial, and I am happy to answer any questions!

Also, choose QUALITY over QUANTITY! Students are better off writing a few GREAT papers instead of several mediocre papers. As the parent/teacher, you may modify the guide to fit the individual needs of your student(s).

Everyone should read the plagiarism document… the sooner your students grasp what plagiarism is and how to avoid it, the better!

Happy Writing!
